All of these were the experiences of our Ava on Memorial Day weekend 2011.

Easter Fun

Easter was so much fun this year!  Even though it was not Ava's first Easter, she was 1 week 5 days old last year, it was the first one she was excited about.  She really enjoyed every minute of it (except when we tried to make her put the eggs she found into the basket)!!!

Ava wakes up...

 realizes that the Easter Bunny visited while she was asleep...

 and there were lots of pretty & fun things in what he left...

 and  yummy things in what he left (yes she had jelly beans for breakfast).

 Then we got all dressed up and we went to Pa-paw and Mimi's for Easter lunch...

 Then it was time to hunt Easter eggs...

 she had figured out earlier that the eggs contained candy, so she REALLY did not want to put them in the basket lol...

 and she tried to sneak a few eggs from the boys' baskets while they were taking pictures.

 Then it was time for more pictures with the fam.  Ava with Pa-paw and Mimi...

The older Ava gets the more fun holidays become!  It is so much fun to watch her get excited over every little thing.

Since we had an ice cream cake, Ava got her very own cupcake to dig into.   Of course she enjoyed ice cream cake too!

She was not very sure about it at first, but after a little coaxing from Mommy and Daddy she began to dig in.

Then it was time to dig into all of the presents she got!  This kid is seriously spoiled loved.  She always seems to walk away from all special occasions with crazy amounts of stuff!

Once everyone was gone she played fashion show with Grandma Gloria.  The bikini was everyone's favorite (well that is everyone except Daddy).

New Year, Football and Friends

New Year's Eve was a warm day, so we took Ava onto the back porch to play in the sunshine.  She really enjoyed toddling around in her stroller watching her Daddy out in the yard.

Then some of our most favorite people came over to watch the last UGA game of the season and to help ring in the New Year.

We enjoyed some delicious food, sad UGA football, fun people and firestarting fireworks.
